About Randy Rother

Randy attended Texas A&M University on a football scholarship; he graduated cum laude in May 1983. Later that same year, Randy founded Oakmont Group with Matt Davis and he serves as CEO. Randy’s passion for the business is driven by the opportunities he has to partner with families and their advisors in seeing the fulfillment of their unique goals and maximizing the impact of their legacy.

Out of the office, Randy serves on the boards of Kids Across America in Branson, Missouri, and Need Him Global, headquartered in Dallas, Texas. Additionally, he serves as a Deacon at Central Baptist Church in Bryan, Texas where he and Suzanne, his wife of 41 years, teach a newlywed’s class.

For pleasure, Randy enjoys traveling, hiking, and above all, spending time with his four children, their spouses, and his thirteen grandchildren.
